Ryan Simpson has spent over a decade living and cooking in Valencia — long enough to understand that paella isn't just food, it's a ritual. Originally from the UK, he moved to the Costa Blanca in 2012 and immersed himself in the culinary traditions of the region.

Trained under local Valencian cooks, Ryan learned that authentic paella is built on patience, fire, and respect for the ingredient. No shortcuts, no compromises. Just wood smoke, the right rice, and the sound of a proper socarrat forming at the base of the pan.

Today he shares that knowledge through intimate experiences — at his private coastal chalet, at your home, or in the middle of a friendly competition. Whether you're eating or learning, the goal is the same: a real connection to one of Spain's greatest culinary traditions.

Ryan speaks English and Spanish and has hosted guests from over 30 countries. His philosophy is simple — good paella brings people together.
